Carbon Goal New Era and Green New Future: Sunpower Tech was invited to participate in the 2023 Sixth China International Photovoltaic Industry Conference

From November 13th to 16th, the 2023 Sixth China International Photovoltaic Industry Conference was held in Chengdu. Sunpower Tech was invited to attend this conference, and gathered together with the world's top experts and scholars, leading entrepreneurs, and photovoltaic enterprise representatives to discuss the development trends of the photovoltaic industry and promote green, low-carbon and sustainable development.


During this conference, Guo Hongxin, Chairman of Sunpower Tech, conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with photovoltaic industry partners at the Innovation Technology Exchange Conference on hot issues such as energy structure transformation and upgrading, healthy development of the photovoltaic industry, photovoltaic cutting-edge technology, and the construction of new power systems.


Chairman Guo Hongxin said in the exchange that innovation is the key to Sunpower Tech's ability to maintain resonance and synchronization with Tongwei. From hot rod technology to solve the problem of frozen soil on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway to using cold hydrogenation technology to overcome the worldwide problem of difficult-to-treat polysilicon high pollution by-products, Sunpower Tech has always insisted on using innovation to help solve problems. In 2023, Tongwei Co., Ltd. entered the Fortune Global 500 and become the first photovoltaic company to enter the Fortune Global 500. Sunpower has the ability, confidence and determination to provide Tongwei Co., Ltd. with high-tech products and services, to jointly create a better green new future for the photovoltaic industry.


 


The conference granted awards to partners who have long supported the development of Yongxiang Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tongwei Group. 67 companies won the "Strategic Partner", "Quality Benchmark Award", "Excellent Engineering Construction Award", "Model Cooperation Award", and "Excellent Partner Award" respectively. Sunpower Tech won the honorary title of "Strategic Partner" and renewed the strategic cooperation agreement with Yongxiang Co., Ltd.

Over the years, through continuous technological innovation, Sunpower Tech has focused on the pain points of the industry, focusing on cutting-edge technologies in the fields of chemical materials, clean energy equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection, focusing on the development of polycrystalline silicon cold hydrogenation core technology and complete sets of equipment. We have overcome the highly toxic and highly polluting by-product of silicon tetrachloride in the polycrystalline silicon production process, which is a worldwide difficult problem. Silicon tetrachloride is converted into trichlorosilane, the raw material for the production of polysilicon, which greatly reduces the overall cost of polysilicon production. By renewing strategic cooperation agreement with Yongxiang Co., Ltd., Sunpower Tech will rely on the technological and resource advantages of both parties to consolidate the foundation of innovation, pay close attention to the quality of research, and promote the high-quality development of Yongxiang Co., Ltd.



At the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center, Sunpower Tech built a booth with the theme of "sustainable development to help customers with new development, increase production and energy conservation to achieve economical and environmental protection", and conducted research on cold hydrogenation reactors, high-efficiency heat exchangers, polysilicon skid devices and cleaning equipment. Equipment models and technologies such as energy and water treatment systems were put on centralized display. Through technical explanations and simulated demonstrations, Sunpower Tech vividly reflected the business philosophy of Sunpower Tech in helping enterprises to increase production, save energy and realize benefit-oriented environmental protection.
