  • 2022, initiated planning for the Yizheng Clean Energy Core Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Base, reinforcing capabilities in green energy infrastructure.

  • 2023, the LNG Membrane Tank Technology Development and Application project was included in Sinopec’s Ten Dragons program.

  • 2023,featured in CCTV-2’s industrial documentary The Pillars of Industry (Episode 4: Tiangong Kaiwu), highlighting innovative achievements.

  • 2024, exported core polysilicon production equipment to the Middle East’s largest polysilicon project, marking the first global deployment of domestically developed cold hydrogenation technology and opening new international markets.

  • 2018, Sunpower "High-Tech’s Safe, Efficient, and Environmentally Friendly Flare Combustion Technology and Equipment" project won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Sinopec.

  • 2020,the "Integrated Technology Development and Industrial Application for Large-Scale LNG Terminals" project secured the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, followed by an additional first prize from Sinopec Group in 2021.

  • 2021, Sunpower Tech spun off from its SGX-listed parent company (Sunpower Group) to pursue a strategic realignment toward domestic capital markets.

  • 2021, the Key Technologies and Engineering Applications for Highway Construction in Qinghai-Tibet Permafrost Regions project was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

2015-2017
  • 2015, became a Global EFA (Equipment and Fabrication Agreement) supplier for Shell, marking entry into the international energy supply chain.

  • 2016, delivered core equipment for BASF’s world-class fragrance production facility in Malaysia, earning high recognition from the global chemical giant.

  • 2017, the Shenhua Shaanxi Methanol Downstream Processing Project received the National Quality Engineering Award, China’s highest honor for engineering excellence.

  • 2010, Jiangsu (Sunpower Tech) Industrial Energy Conservation Technology Research Institute was officially established with approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Department of Finance .

  • 2012, began undertaking LNG vaporizer localization R&D projects commissioned by Sinopec and CNOOC, contributing to the domestic substitution of key LNG terminal equipment through successful deployments in multiple large-scale terminals.

  • 2013, the Development and Industrial Application of LNG Terminal Integrated Technology project was selected for Sinopec’s Ten Dragons R&D program, a national-level technology initiative.

  • 2005, the headquarters building was completed, marking the official relocation of the corporate management center to Jiangning District, Nanjing.

  • 2007, achieved a milestone by exporting integrated titanium PTA equipment to Europe, showcasing international competitiveness in specialized manufacturing.

  • 2008, pioneered breakthroughs in cold hydrogenation equipment manufacturing technology, resolving the critical challenge of processing toxic byproducts (SiCl₄) in polysilicon production and significantly reducing costs

  • 1999, Jiangsu Sunpower Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. was established.

  • 2002, through participation in CCTV's Dialogue program, the company established ties with the Qinghai-Tibet Railway project, where its Heat Rod Technology played a pivotal role in safeguarding permafrost infrastructure along the railway.

  • 2004, Sunpower Group was registered overseas and subsequently listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 2005
