High salinity wastewater is one of the most challenging industrial effluents to treat, characterized by high salt content, complex salt composition, and tendencies to cause scaling and corrosion. Conventional physical, chemical, and biochemical technologies have limited effectiveness in treating such wastewater.‌The high salinity wastewater treatment system is designed to process concentrated saline water discharged by industrial enterprises, aiming to reduce its volume, achieve water resource recycling, and further enable salt separation for resource recovery.‌The company provides comprehensive solutions tailored to clients' specific water quality variations and treatment requirements, encompassing process design, equipment manufacturing, system integration, and installation services.‌

Sunpower's first full-process fractional crystallization system applying low-temperature freezing coupled thermal evaporation-crystallization technology, with purified water recycled to cooling systems and high-purity sodium sulfate/chloride salts achieving resource utilization.

Awarded 2016-2017 National Quality Engineering Award. Sunpower's first ZLD project utilizing proprietary technologies through process package & EPCM delivery. Successful commissioning demonstrated full capability in design, fabrication and commissioning guidance, establishing MVR evaporation-crystallization as mainstream ZLD technology.

China's first ZLD system (membrane concentration + double-effect evaporation) constructed by Sunpower in 2007, with self-designed falling film evaporators. Full reuse of high-quality water and solid salt resourceization achieved genuine zero liquid discharge.
